1. What we collect

Account data (email, name, organisation), usage data (pages visited, features used, API calls made), content data (what you create and publish through Igny8), and billing data (payment method, invoices).

2. How we use it

To provide the service you signed up for, to improve Igny8 based on aggregate usage patterns, to bill you correctly, to respond to support requests, and to send service announcements.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't train AI models on your content. We don't share your content with third parties except as required to deliver the service (AI providers for generation, publishing platforms for delivery).

4. AI provider data

When you generate content through Igny8, the relevant inputs (your brief, brand voice, reference content) are sent to the AI provider you selected (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.). These providers have their own data policies, which you can review on their sites. In BYOK mode, data goes directly from your account to your provider; Igny8 does not retain copies beyond what's needed to run the pipeline.

5. Third-party integrations

When you connect WordPress, Shopify, GSC, Ahrefs or similar services, Igny8 receives only the data required for the integration to function. We don't pull broader data than necessary.

6. Data retention

Active accounts: data retained for the life of the account. Deleted accounts: data purged within 30 days except where retention is legally required. Backup snapshots may persist up to 90 days for operational recovery.

7. Security

Data encrypted at rest and in transit. Database access restricted to engineering team. API keys stored in encrypted columns. Regular security audits. Incident response procedure documented.

8. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from account settings. GDPR and CCPA requests handled within 30 days. Email privacy@igny8.com for specific requests.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and minimal analytics (page views, not behavioural tracking). We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

Igny8 is not intended for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be communicated 30 days in advance. Non-material clarifications may be made without notice.
